Fuel Tank Containment & Spill Plan Deadline November 2011 - 03/28/2011

Farmers, ranchers, and other petroleum tank owners have only a short time to comply with the federal Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) regulations regarding Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.  The regulation applies to any facility storing 1,320 gallons or more of petroleum product.

The SPCC Plan is a written document outlining what the facility owner/operator will do to prevent discharges of oil into the waters or natural resources of the United States.  The principal component of a “compliant” Plan is to provide secondary containment for tanks and other containers over 55 gallons in capacity.

WCEC has staff engineers to prepare and sign SPCC Plans for your facility.  We also sell a steel walled secondary containment dike for tanks, as well just the liners for earthen dikes.  See Contract Services above and than the Secondary Containment link, or just call Gaylen at 800-422-8356.
