WCEC will be completing an LIF project in Libby, MT at a petreoleum release site regulated by the MT DEQ later this summer.  The Montana Petroleum Release Compensation Board (MT PTRCB) is also invlovled in the financial aspect of the project.

The project will serve as a educational experience for both the MT DEQ and MT PTRCB, demonstrating both the scientific and financial benfits of using LIF technology to define hydrocarbon impacts for remedial excavation.
